President Mnangagwa’s son donates food, blankets to Mbare residents

PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa’s son and namesake this Sunday has donated foods and other items that include blankets to residents of Matapi Flats in Mbare, Harare.

Through Chillspot Records, Emmerson Mnangagwa Jnr donated groceries and blankets. Announcing the development, Chillspot Records founder Arnold Kamudyariwa aka DJ Fantan thanked Emmerson Jr for gifting residents of Matapi at a time when most of them are struggling to make ends meet.

DJ Fantan wrote;

“Emmerson Mnangangwa Jnr Touches the hearts of Matapi flats Residents {1 Aug 2021}

Following the First son’s visit to Chillspot recordz simply to find out how the studio operates, Emmerson Mnangagwa Jnr was also inspired by the reception in Mbare that he decided reciprocate the love by giving back to the community and the disabled through a donation of groceries and blankets which have been distributed through Chillspot recordz.

This act of goodwill has touched the Hearts of residents who have been struggling to make ends meet during this time of the covid 19 pandemic.We say God bless you Emmerson Mnangagwa Jnr and as Chillspot we hope to continue working with you especially on these acts of goodwill. This comes barely a week after the first son visited the Mbare-based Chillspot Records. Following the visit, Fantan took to social media and wrote:

“Emmerson Mnangangwa Jr visited the Mangoma depot, the ghetto buddies.

“Such a humbling experience… we never thought would ever be visited by the First Son… Thank you so much… tadzidza zvakawanda (you’ve taught us a lot),” he said.

Touched by the reception he received when he visited Chillspot records, Emmerson Mnangagwa Jnr decided to reciprocate that love by giving back to the community.
