Zanu PF Councillor appointed Chitungwiza deputy Mayor

COUNCILLOR Kiven Mutimbanyoka of Zanu PF has been appointed the Chitungwiza Town Council’s deputy Mayor, it has emerged.

Mutimbanyoka of Ward 13 comes in following the recalling of MDC-Alliance Councillor Musa Makweza.

Chitungwiza Mayor Lovemore Maiko confirmed the move.

“For more than two decades our people have been struggling in terms of water woes. We have been struggling with sewer and bad roads. We want to address that,” said Councillor Mutimbanyoka.

He also pledged to work harmoniously with the opposition mayor with the hope of having a common purpose of improving the local authority’s service delivery.
