A high school headmaster in Bulawayo is in trouble after he was this Wednesday stabbed and robbed of a school-owned Ford Ranger truck and over US$800 cash when armed robbers pounced on him as he was having sex in the bush.
Police in Bulawayo have confirmed the incident which took place this Wednesday evening, saying residents must desist from engaging in bush sex.
The incident happened on Wednesday night, in a bushy area, near United College of Education in Bulawayo, according to the local tabloid B-Metro.
Two unknown men, armed with an axe, stick and knife pounced on the headmaster (name supplied), while he was having sex in a grey Ford Ranger with his lover (name supplied).
The headmaster tried to fight the robbers and got stabbed in the thigh. They also took turns to assault him with fists and a huge stick all over the body.
After beating him to submission they searched him and took US$455 and R4 000.
The two robbers then turned their attention to the woman and she gave them US$400 and her cellphone at knifepoint.
They then took off in the headmaster’s car, a Ford Ranger issued to him by the school.
Bulawayo provincial police spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube confirmed the incident to B-Metro, saying the cost of engaging in bush sex was way too high to even try it.
“We urge people to use lodges and hotels when they want to have leisure. They can also use a house than to go to the bush because it is very risky.
“These people could have used US$20 at a lodge than to lose a car which is estimated to cost US$48 000, cash US$855 and R4000 to robbers,” said Ncube.
Only last month, a school headmistress for Khumalo Primary, also in Bulawayo, torched a storm after she accidentally posted her own nudes on WhatsApp status. □
