Two kids dead after pre-school owner forgot them in Honda Fit trunk

TWO pre-school pupils died after they were forgotten inside the boot of a Honda Fit which was being used as the school bus.

According to a report by the ZBC, the owner of Javas Pre-school in Chiredzi, Zhuwakina Javangwe, forgot that she had four children in the boot of her Honda Fit when she parked it early in the morning Tuesday.

Javangwe later discovered that the children were still locked up in the car trunk many hours layer when she was about to clean the car.

That was around 10am.

Masvingo Provincial Police Spokesperson, Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa confirmed the incident.

Dhewa told ZBC that the two girls Lynet Musungatu aged 4 and Celine Shiri (3) were pronounced dead upon arrival at Chiredzi District Hospital.
