Purpose of Job
This role is responsible to do shutdown planning according to Critical Path Method (CPM), resource scheduling, and task descriptions.

Recruitment Description
Support and promote company vision, values, and goals. Ensure values driven behavior, personal development and effectiveness is carried out. Build constructive working relationships with manager, peers, clients, and other service providers. Must plan and schedule shutdown work to serve the business by maximizing the utilization of resources and equipment available. Ensure activities are planned and scheduled to ensure the safe execution of activities. Coordinate plant walk to validate and update task lists. Apply the basic rules and logic of scheduling activities to ensure work is grouped and packaged together to allow effective execution. Develop a shutdown bar-chart plan to execute the shutdown in the safest and shortest time frame. Identify opportunities to maximize the utilization of resources and equipment available.

Key Accountabilities
Follow the prescribed procedure for planning, scheduling, reporting and execution of the plan. Give regular feedback to leaders and the shutdown management team on progress and reasons for deviating from the shutdown planning time schedule to develop the final plan as per the agreed time schedule and milestone dates (Shutdown Planning Schedule). Review, plan and develop task lists for all Strategy work (Statutory and Non-Statutory) Maintenance Item work orders generated from SAP Maintenance Plans and ensure all RBI and statutory requirements are loaded in the task list in the SAP workorders. Coach stakeholders during the shutdown process and planning tools (e.g., interpretation of Artemis bar chart, EIS graphs indicators and eSMOP FEL). Determine maintenance critical path. Provide business unit shutdown manager with regular feedback in the update meetings on the overall progress and possible threats to the critical path during execution. Verify updated information according to schedule adherence. (Random checks & critical paths).

Formal Education
High School Diploma (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Science (at N3 level), and

A relevant Occupation Trade Qualification and / or a relevant National Diploma in an engineering field and / or completed the Sasol internal technical planning development training program.

Min Experience
3+ years relevant operations experience with a relevant engineering/process trade certificate (NQF4) or,

6+ years relevant operations experience with the internal planning development program (Sasol Internal Certificate)

General office administration

MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, MS Projects, Power BI)

Experience to Operations Environment

Knowledge / Experience of work management process (Turnaround and Maintenance Planning)

Experience in document management

SAP Plant Maintenance Module

Experience
