SUSPECTED serial rapist and fraudster Naboth Kereke, 42, has appeared in court on allegations of rape and fraud.
Allegations are that sometime last year Kereke called the victim purporting that he wanted to give her money since the accused person was a Real Estate Agent .
The court heard that upon arrival at Gwanzura Borehole in Highfield, Kereke told his unsuspecting victim that there was a house to rent around Paradise area in Highfield and the two agreed to go and check the place.
It is alleged that upon reaching a secluded place, Kereke grabbed the complainant by the neck and raped her once, before she ran away screaming for help but to no avail.
The court further heard that Kereke chased the complainant and raped her the second time.
The accused, who appeared in court this Wednesday, is alleged to have committed this latest crime while on bail for other rape and fraud charges committed using same tricks.
Kereke, who was already in remand will be back in court on the 20th of this month.
The Highfield resident is not new to scandals and crime. In 2017, Kereke and his wife Mercy Muchenje (41) were arrested for child sexual exploitation after they allegedly forced two girls then aged 13 and 14 into sex with different men for cash.
Allegations at that were that the two minors were at a party in Old Highfield when they met one McHerald Felix who asked them to accompany him to Kereke’s residence.
When they arrived at Kereke’s house the complainants were made to sit on the sofa in the dining room, while Felix then left the girls purportedly to buy dagga, but he never returned.
After a while, Kereke and his wife Muchenje entered the dining room and greeted the juveniles before asking them if they wanted a job. Kereke and Muchenje assured the children that they would be making quick cash.
Apparently, Kereke and his wife operated a brothel at their house where they made older men pay to have sex with young girls the couple would have sourced.
Kereke then led the minors to a bedroom in the house before ordering them to wait there. He reportedly locked the door from outside and made the juveniles sleep in the room without offering them food or access to ablution facilities.
The following day around 12 noon, the door was unlocked and two male adults entered the room and told the children that they had been granted permission by Kereke and Muchenje to have sex with them.
It was alleged the victims attempted to resist but were overpowered and forced into protected sex.
Kereke brought various men to sleep with the minors while his wife brought them food and only allowed them to walk around their house.
The children then sneaked out one day and met their grandmother who had been looking for them. They explained how Kereke and his wife were forcing them into having sex with several men before their grandmother accompanied them to the police.
