BEAUTY and the brakes! A Lusaka motorist forgot he was driving after his eyes met the body of a beautiful vendor, and he lost all concentration and attention to his driving.
His old model Toyota Harrier landed in a ditch in Lusaka’s Kanyama Compound in the early hours of Wednesday due, media in Zambia reported.
The man survived the crash with no injuries but evaded media when it emerged that he crashed while lusting on a roadside vendor.
“The driver lost concentration on the road because of a woman that was selling her merchandise by the road side,” witnesses told media after the crash.

In related news, HourlyHits reported last week that Uganda has banned women from occupying the front passenger seat in trucks.
The female passengers are accused of wearing short dresses which expose their thighs, which distracts drivers thus resulting in road accidents.
Local authorities in Lira City made the decision following a road accident that killed nine people in the Lira area on January 10.
Patrick Opio Obote, the chairman of Lira City Mobile Market Vendors Association, said some of their female members dress indecently and demand to sit in the co-driver’s seat.
“To reduce accidents, we have resolved that with effect from Monday, January 17, no woman shall be allowed to sit in front of any truck transporting traders from Lira City to any weekly markets,” he said.
Obote said such women often claim that they do not want to sit behind the truck because of dusty roads.
