A prominent CCC activist who also actively funds programmes in the opposition party has sensationally revealed that Susan Mutami has bedded men in the party as well.
Enterpeneur Kuda Musasiwa, who also designed the current CCC logo and yellow insignia, made the revelations hours after Mutami’s disclosed shocking and gory details of sexual abuse and manipulation she allegedly suffered at the hands of top Zanu PF officials.
The Australia-based caregiver claimed she stayed in President Mnangagwa’s home at his Sherwood Farm outside Kwekwe after her father died when she was 15. She claimed he sexually assaulted her multiple times as did his aides who included former State Security Minister Owen Ncube.
Mutami went on to reveal a long list of top ruling party officials she has subsequently bedded, including late Foreign Affairs Minister Sibusiso Moyo, Polite Kambamura and other connected officials. Norton MP Temba Mliswa, with whom she has a baby, was also mentioned. However, with these last three it was a case of relationship and not rape.
But Mutami, who sobbed emotionally in-between her exposé, did not mention any opposition political figures even though a viral photo she shared shows her posing with CCC President Nelson Chamisa in what appears to be a basement to large building.
Musasiwa, while sympathizing with Mutami, went on to reveal that her lovers cut across the political divide. This comes as Mutami did not explain the incident in which she was pictured with Chamisa, even as she explained almost all her photos which are in the public domain.
Mutami is actively campaigning for Chamisa in the 2023 elections.
“Pease do NOT think this is a uniquely Zanu PF thing. I am grateful Susan didn’t throw some big names from the other side into the mix coz she could have. But there is a serious issue with men with power. This needs to be fixed,” said Musasiwa, who also ran Fadzayi Mahere’s campaign as an independent candidate for Mt Pleasant constituency in 2018.
The tech-savvy businessman added that abuse of young girls for money was happening even outside Zanu PF, including in churches led by rich, powerful self-styled prophets.
“If you want to find hundreds of young girls like Mutami, go to the avenues right now. They are prisoners in flats and condos. (They) are prisoners to prophets, pastors, politicians and CEOs. They have iPhone 13s and drivers who are like prison guards. We all know it. We all see it.”
Musasiwa warned that there was a danger in thinking that replacing the current Zanu-PF government would clean society of the girl child abuse scourge.
“Society must change along with government. Changing the people at the top without real social change will just breed new victims. Trust me on this,” he asserted.
Responding to Musasiwa, some Zimbabweans said the fact that Mutami’s alleged abusers were still walking scotfree and even enjoying Government perks showed that what mattered most at the moment was a new Government that respects rule of law and judicial independence.
Others, particularly Zanu PF supporters and officials, believe Mutami has sour grapes against their leaders or is suffering a mental health breakdown.
“Utter rubbish not worth of my time,” said deputy chief secretary to the President and Cabinet, George Charamba.
Government spokesperson Nick Mangwana described Mutami as a “marujata”, Shona word for a woman with a propensity for wrecking other women’s marriages.
Not to be left behind, Zanu PF director of information Tafadzwa Mugwadi described Mutami as a sick and bitter woman. Mugwadi went on to splash pornographic material of Mutami on Twitter in an unsuccessful bid to silence her.
Mugwadi further branded Mutami “a self-confessed hooker” sent by Chamisa to besmirch ruling Zanu PF leaders as political terrain gets heated up ahead of general elections next year.
Meanwhile, Mutami said she will sue for the abuse. Asked by HourlyHits what recourse she had in mind, Mutami simply said “legal route,” without disclosing further details.
