OUTSPOKEN street preacher and prominent critic of Zimbabwe’s government, Apostle Talent Chiwenga, has declared the 2023 election as done and dusted saying that opposition CCC leader Nelson Chamisa has already lost.
Chamisa is soft and cowardly
The insightful video, which HourlyHits is in possession of, appears below this article.
Citing his reasons, Chiwenga said Chamisa was never the best leader for opposition politics in Zimbabwe as he is “soft and cowardly”, adding that Chamisa does everything possible to avoid being arrested.
Recently, CCC deputy chairperson Job Sikhala was arrested and is languishing in remand prison. Chamisa and other party leaders have been visiting Sikhala at Chikurubi Prison, and Chiwenga said those are crocodile tears.
Chamisa wants power but is scared
Chiwenga argues that merely tweeting for Sikhala’s release would never work and Chamisa must be a leader who calls for protests and actually leads from the from.
Chiwenga adds that Chamisa is an immature and childish politician who wants power but is not prepared to fight for it, preferring to hide behind brave opposition leaders like Sikhala while he focuses on Twitter.
“He is a hypocrite. How come he has never been arrested? More shocking revelations are coming and we shall announce them,” Chiwenga warns in a long video, whose snippet we share below courtesy of Kukurigo.
Chamisa will lose the 2023 election
As a stinging remark, Chiwenga says Chamisa will lose in 2023 and the CCC would better be served by Sikhala who “is a better leader, and who leads from the front”.
Chiwenga rose to prominence after he used street sermons in Harare and social media platforms to openly rebuke Zimbabwe’s government for its gross human rights abuses, including arbitrary arrests, abductions, and torture of activists, rights defenders, and journalists.
In June 2020, Home Affairs Minister Kazembe Kazembe, publicly labelled Chiwenga as part of an “illegal and subversive bandwagon under the control of certain diplomatic missions.”
