Job Purpose

Under supervision learn the following processes that supports Councils developmental objectives:
Responsible for all aspects of network communication (voice and data) and its implementation at
the enteprise.

This post reports to SENIOR MANAGER (NTWRKS & TELECOM INFRAS)

Key Responsibility Areas

Under supervision, provides networking and telecommuncations support.
Under supervision, installs hardware and software.
Under Supervision, performs technical evaluations of hardware and software.
Under Supervision provide a consultancy service to the Units.
Under Supervision, maintains the network and telecommunications infrastructure for the
Municipality.

Essential Requirements

Studying towards a 3 year IT qualification.
Valid motor vehicle driving license.
Nil.

Preferred Requirements

Relevant 3 year IT Qualification.
