The Staff Learning Centre seeks to appoint a suitable candidate to a temporary position at a Payclass 06 level, to support the Learning and Development activities held at the Staff Learning Centre, Cambria House. This short-term contract is for a period of 8 months, starting August 2023.

The main purpose for this position is to provide efficient, effective, and professional front office administrative support to the Staff Learning Centre in support of delivering the Staff Learning Programme and related Learning and Development projects.

Requirements:

NQF4 qualification
1 years frontline and/or front office admin support
Excellent client service skills
Telephony skills
Building, venue, and/or event administration skills
Ability to plan and manage own work
MS Outlook – intermediate level
MS Word, Excel and Teams – beginner level
An interest in pursuing a career in Learning and Development with a focus on administering face-to-face interventions.

The incumbent must be physically able to, and prepared to, move training tables, chairs, and other venue equipment to set up the venues according to venue booking requirements.

Responsibilities:

Professional and efficient support for front office, reception, and switchboard at Cambria House
Handle incoming enquiries, telephonic, email, and walk-ins at Cambria House
Maintain and administer venue bookings and setup venues for courses and meetings
Arrange and administer the requisite catering and consumables required for courses and meetings
Provide general building and facilities administration and support
Ensure that the building, venues, equipment, and consumables, are in good working order and arrange repairs and/or maintenance as necessary.
Provide administrative support to facilitators, course convenors, delegates, and required.
Monitoring of access to the building and venues to maintain the safety and security of the building.

Salary Min. R160,527.00
Salary Max. R295,547.00
