Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
- National Diploma in Safety Management or Environmental Management/Health (NQF5)
- Preferable Mechanical/Electrical or Civil Engineering time served apprenticeships
- Valid driver’s license
Experience:
- 3 year’s experience work experience in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering and plant equipment.
- 3 years’ experience in Safety; Occupational health and environmental field as a safety officer

- High level of both verbal and non-verbal communication skills in English

- Professional Registration with SACPCMP
Knowledge:
- Environmental Management i.e., legal compliance audit, knowledge of Health and Safety legation OHS Act 85 of 1993; Intimate knowledge and understanding of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 9001
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite
