Role
Work under the direct supervision of the Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner in providing an efficient occupational health service in support of the Occupational Health Centre functions.
Assisting with chronic care and standard medicals to RBM employees and external contractors.
Provide assistance with medical emergencies
Maintain and improve safety, health and environmental standards and practices.
Perform fair and reasonable tasks related to the job and working environment, at the discretion of the Superintendent of Occupational Health.
Perform regular stock counts and report on requirements.
Capture periodic/routine medical data on the system and ensure that information is filed according to standard procedures.
What you’ll bring
Enrolled Nurse/ Auxiliary Nurse Certificate2-yearr South African Nursing Council (SANC) approved courseCertificates in Audiometry, Spirometry and HIV counsellingRegistration with SA Nursing Council as an Enrolled/Auxiliary Nurse and Registration as an Audiometrist with South African Society of Occupational Health Nurse Practitioners (SASOHN)2 years’ experience in Audiometry and Spirometry and HIV counselling.Experience with casualty and emergency services would be highly advantageous
