Purpose of Job

Lead, monitor, and supervise cross-functional teams based in Sandton and Sasolburg to achieve defined goals that create effective and efficient customer service that contribute to customer centricity.

Depending on business needs, the current employee may be assigned to oversee a cross-functional team, including team members located in Secunda.

Responsible for leading and supporting Administrators to execute across the employee life cycle administration actions from entry to exit.

Performing exit interviews for Sandton based employees and delivering on-site services in accordance with business needs for remote areas including but not limited to Ekandustria and Germiston. Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to support effective execution of employee life cycle administration actions. Organise and support the employee life cycle administration from recruitment, compensation, health checks, movements, and separation of employees. Delivering on facilitating end-to-end death administration processes, support and interactions with families and relevant stakeholders.

Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

• Daily resource and activity management of cross-functional teams. • Implementing and maintaining timelines and SLAs to achieve team deliverables. • Reporting and analytics to drive team deliverables in the pursuit of customer focus and customer centricity. • Performing exit interviews for Sandton based employees and delivering on-site services in accordance with business needs for remote areas including but not limited to Ekandustria and Germiston. • Facilitating end-to-end death administration processes, support and interactions with families and relevant stakeholders. • Conducting training and providing support to team members to maximise their potential. • Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills. • Conducting monthly performance reviews. • Driving and monitoring compliance and governance in the execution of team activities • Driving and monitoring service delivery of efficiency and effectiveness of the team. • Build and maintain positive relationships with employees, HRBPs, and line managers to enhance service delivery of the HR function. • Proactive identification of potential risks or continuous improvement opportunities regarding statutory requirements, processing and policy, governance misalignments, and overly complex and ineffective processes. • Manage outcomes of objectives, projects, and activities using health checks and scorecards. • Contribute to requirements for systems and programs. • Managing adherence to governance. • Manage environment according to SLC and service offering catalogue. • Accountable for delivery of accurate, relevant, and complete documentation and system management by the team. • Support with coordination of meetings, preparation of documentation, and the collation and finalisation of relevant documentation. • Regularly review work against compliance and required objectives and standards. • Direct employees with the correct route to take with more complex HR queries and escalations. • Support and input to the implementation of change management projects and processes. • Apply evidence based SHE practices in alignment with set standards for safe operations. • Continuously improve own skills and knowledge. Complete, implement, and track personal development plans to attain personal performance goals. • Travel across the Sites to deliver on-site service in accordance with business needs for remote areas is required.

Formal Education

University Bachelors Degree

Min Experience

4+ years relevant experience

Team lead/Supervisory experience will be an advantage
