The duties will include but are not limited to:
Oversees the production process and assists with drawing up of production plan for his area of responsibility
Ensures all work is effectively planned and resourced and undertaken in a safe and cost- effective mannerMonitors the production process and key short- term milestones in line with set targets .
Monitors production outputs implements actions, reviews reports and statistics to plan and modify mining activitiesReviews production plans and discusses equipment needs and with relevant Line Manager.Develops and implements methods and procedures to ensure optimal performance of resources.
Ensures adherence to policies, standards, and procedures in all areas of his operationsImplements and monitor regulatory controls including Operational SOPs on mine operations under their immediate control
You will need:
Opencast Rock Breaking Qualification
A minimum of 4 years appointed as a mining foreman in a production environmentIn-depth knowledge of mining methods, mining, and environmental legislationProficiency in MS Office Suite & SAPValid driver’s licenseIn possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness
Advantageous:
, B Tech or Advanced Diploma, B Eng., National Diploma Coal in Mining Engineering
