Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) Role and Responsibilities:
Workshops:
Ability to lead design workshops at the start of a client engagement in order to refine client requirements for the technical deployment covering functional and infrastructure requirements.
This includes determining the appropriate host application, e.g. Launcher, Sterling Data Exchange (SDE), Websphere, etc.
Ability to lead and document requirement gathering sessions for custom development requirements, typically in the form of mapping specs.
Install and configure (both on-prem and containerised versions):
ITX Launcher / Server and supporting software like MQ client libraries
ITX Design Studio

Develop:
Maps as per customer requirements including custom type trees and resource registries as required
Database Integration artefacts (Database Interface Designer) for custom databases and tables
Integration Flows for Launcher-based deployments, or else configuration to integrate with preferred host application like SDE
Preferred to also do custom Java development for specific client requirements to allow maps to call custom Java code

Support:
Support clients during and immediately after implementation and upgrade projects
