· Sweep the Warehouse in the mornings

· Assists the picker by pulling stock into the assigned cages with a Pallet Jack. Placing the pallets in the cages in the correct manner straight and neatly.

· Offloading trucks with a Pallet Jack and placing the stock in the assigned stores the Supervisor instructed

· Make full pallets after stock has been checked by the Dispatch Supervisor by repacking half pallets in the assigned cages before loading.

· Wrap Products with shrink wrap starting from the Blue Chep pallet working your way to the top of the pallet, tightly to prevent stock from moving on the Pallets while in transit

· Constantly look around for pieces of wood and material lying around and picking it up and throwing it into the Waste Bins in the Warehouse.

· Assist with Loading of trucks when reach truck driver is on leave.

· Filling in Checklists (Temperature, Pallet Jack and Hygiene Checklists)

· Assist with scanning of stock into loading areas.

· Clean spillages with a mop provided.

· Report any problems noticed in the Warehouse to the Supervisor

Required Skills

· Grade 12 or equivalent

· At least 2 year’s experiences in the manufacturing environment

· Ability to work effectively, independently and co-operate at all levels

· Experience as a general will prove advantageous

· Computer literate

· Excellent communication skills at all levels

· Accuracy and punctuality essential

· Ability to work and make decisions under pressure

· Willing to work long hours, overtime, weekends and public holidays

Ability to operate in a very cold environment
