Apply For University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN): Richard AD Turner Bursaries 2023

Closing Date: 20 March 2023.

The bursary will be awarded for Master’s Degree students at UKZN, to students who demonstrable student leadership credentials and proven involvement in community work in which democratic endeavours are highlighted. The scholarship supports Master’s level research which focuses on issues of justice and freedom for all South Africans.

Requirements:


Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

You must be enrolling for Masters degree studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (with research which focuses on issues of justice and freedom for all South Africans)You must demonstrable student leadership credentialsGYou must be involved in community work in which democratic endeavours are highlightedYou must be willing to contribute to student leadership while holding the awardYour field of expertise must be inclined towards trade unionism

Full detailed Curriculum Vitae (maximum 5 pages)Most recent degreeFull Academic transcript1 or more referee reports commenting on your leadership/ community involvement .Master’s thesis/ dissertation proposal (maximum 3 pages) OR a motivation for your chosen research area
