Job Description

Will be responsible for offloading the trucks and taking off sample from the trucks, truck inspections and testing of lab samples along with housekeeping.Offloading the trucks and taking of sample from trucks

Truck Inspections

Testing and taking the samples to the LabCleaning of Intake offloading area, clearing of chokes and overflowing binsCleaning of Intake machines and House Keeping

Assisting on the repairing and maintaining of the intake machines

Operate and use required tools and equipment skilfully and safelyPerform heavy and physical labourRead, comprehend, and work from plans and SOP’s

Maintain cooperative working relationships

Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population.Function within a team environmentFollow written and verbal instructionsRequired to work a 5-day weekRequired to work overtime from time to time/ public holidays and weekendsWorking in a factory environment, hot noisy, dust and flour dust

Must be able to perform physical activities, such as lifting equipment, bending, standing climbing and walking.Must be able to handle hazardous materials safely and tolerate exposure to electrical hazards.

Qualification Requirements

Matric Certificate

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience, in a similar role within an FMCG environment / Milling environment

Key Outputs

Maintenance of tools, machinery and equipment

Health and Safety hazards and precautionary measures to be observed

Ability to work under pressure / sense of urgency
