Africa Cosmos Education Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young South African citizens pursue their academic and career goals. The trust offers a bursary scheme to support the education of deserving students.

The trust is currently offering bursaries for the following fields:

Engineering

Science

Technology

Mathematics

Information Technology

Benefits:

Successful applicants will receive a full bursary for the duration of their academic program. This includes tuition, textbooks, and a stipend for living expenses. Additionally, participants will have access to programs offered by the Africa Cosmos Education Trust.

Eligibility:

To be considered for the bursary, applicants must meet the following mandatory requirements:

Be a South African citizen

Be unemployed and not older than 35 years

Be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a program in one of the fields listed above

Maintain an acceptable attendance record and comply with university policies and procedures

Agree to the work-back obligation aligned with the university class schedule

Requirements:

Applicants must submit a completed application form, certified copies of all supporting documentation (no older than 3 months), and a clear passport or ID-size color photograph.

The completed application form can be hand-delivered to SBV House, 17, 8th Street, Houghton, 2198, Johannesburg, with attention to Ms. Mifferndri Moodley or Ms. Jessie Radebe. Alternatively, applications can be emailed as a single PDF document to miffy.moodley@lsacademies.co.za and jessie.radebe@lsacademies.co.za.

Closing Date:

Applications must be submitted no later than March 17th, 2023. The Africa Cosmos Education Trust committee will review shortlisted applicants and communicate the outcome to successful applicants by the end of 14th April 2023. Successful applicants who had written the Matric examinations will only be informed of the outcome of their application as soon as reasonably possible after the date of receipt of the applicant’s final matric results.

If you do not receive feedback from the Africa Cosmos Education Trust within the timeframes stated above, you may consider your application unsuccessful. The decision of the Africa Cosmos Education Trust regarding the outcome of the application is final.
