Purpose of Role

As part of the Shared Services Finance team, we are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Shared Services Finance Intern to join our team to assist with bookkeeping and finance administration duties.

You should have a keen interest in Finance / Accounting / bookkeeping administration or have career aspirations in this field. If you are passionate about this field, then this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build your skills.

Objectives of Role

Capture and process all company invoices.
Allocate all expense claims and credit cards to general ledger accounts.
Assist the team with general administration / finance duties.
Assist with related queries.

May assist with financial reporting and other ad hoc duties.

Experience and QualificationsThis internship is only open to final year students currently completing an undergraduate Degree or recently graduated in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study.

Competencies

Keen interest in Finance / Accounting / Bookkeeping.

Good understanding of bookkeeping, accounting, and financial principles.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Strong administration skills.Strong analytical and logical thinking ability.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to handle confidential information and maintain a professional demeanour.Able to work within a team.Willingness to learn.Other Information

Must be a South African citizen.
Applicants must not be older than 29 years of age.
Preferably Cape Town based.
