Job Description
Create marketing material and website content – videos, brochures (including product portfolio brochures), catalogues, audios, etc.Record and edit podcasts and create blogs and social medical posts.Assist with compilation of news articles for company website.
Record, edit and distribute testimonials as required and assist with event planning and coordination including farmer-days, trade shows, symposiums, etc.
Assist Key Account Managers, Marketing Technical Manager, Advisory Technicians and International Executive with small to medium sized marketing projects and assist in production of in-field demonstration videos – local travel may be required.
Support Marketing Technical Manager in meeting communication plan schedule timeously.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum education Grade 12 with post matric diploma or degree in Marketing, graphic design or motion design.Minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience as a Marketing Intern advantageous.Previous exposure in the agricultural chemical industry or sales related field advantageous.
Prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions including communications, digital marketing and social media advantageous.
Knowledge of Corel Draw, Photo Paint, Freehand 9, Adobe Suite package, Windows Movie Maker advantageous.Excellent brochure and catalogue design skills using different software.Ability to record, edit and produce high quality videos and audio material for different types of audiences.Able to grasp complicated or new concepts and communicate them in a simple, creative manner.
Basic web design or HTML knowledge and skills.Familiar with the management of different social medial platforms.Ability to edit articles for improved readability and appeal to audience.Basic copywriting knowledge.Possess marketing campaign planning experience and excellent project management skills.
Events planning experience required.
Must have a collaborative mind set and be a good team player as well as possess the ability to work independently when necessary.
Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans.Possess an attitude that is key to success and must be self-motivated.Knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems requirements advantageous.Ability to solve problems systematically, interact with all levels of the organisation and be a strategic thinker.
Ability to grasp and learn different software quickly.Self-starter with an entrepreneurial flair to see projects through to completion.Passionate about marketing.A valid driver’s license and own reliable transport advantageous but not a prerequisite. If in possession of a valid driver’s license candidate must be medically fit to drive.
