Job title: FES & Productivity Graduate

Location: FCM Port Elizabeth

Reports to: FES & P Manager

Contract: 12 months contract as part of our Graduate program

 MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To establish and improve work standards and process flows.

The main missions of the role are to:

Experience in setting up standards and implementing the required performance measures.

Maintain site layouts, operational warehouse layouts to remain current and updated with all new changes to ensure sound work practices.

Analysing and improving key business processes, work measurement, operational design and layout

Feasibility studies which include data gathering and presenting the data to management in a well-structured report and presentation.

Application of Industrial Engineering principles, lean methods and techniques & FES Principles

Increase operating efficiencies and achieve potential costs saving initiatives.

Provide implementing planning and tracking support.

To support FES Deployment in Production.

To support FES &P in launch & role out Kanban pull systems.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

3 year National Diploma or B-Tech in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering

Computer literacy at Intermediate level essential

Have a sound understanding of Work study principles and Work measurement tools

A detail orientated person with analytical abilities and a structured and methodological way.   Dynamic and proactive behaviour.

70% overall achievement on full academic results.
