INFRASTRUCTURE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT MENTOR PROGRAMME
Background:
The Office of the Premier is currently rolling out on skills development program in King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality, the purpose of which is to strengthen the planning, delivery and maintenance of infrastructure through institutional capacity building.
Invitation:
King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality jointly witl the Office of the Premier (OTP) hereby invites applications from Civil Engineering Students who are currendy seeking Experiential Training (PI/P2) to apply under this programme.
Process:
The successful students will be ranked based on academic excellence and placed with Civil Engineering Consulting and construction firms contracted on this programme by the municipality for a period not exceeding 12 months. Interested students are requested to submit applications accordingly.
Requirements:
• Certified copy of Identity documents;
• Certified copy of Technikon/University Academic results;
• Certified copy of Confirmation Of Registration for PI/P2.
• Applicants should obtain a letter confirming their proof of residence from their respective Ward Councillors.
Student must have completed their theoretical studies and be available to attend a compulsory interview on the date that will be confirmed after assessment.
Please note that only Student Technicians [Technologist residing within the King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality jurisdiction will be considered under this programme.
