Job Description
Ensure Engineering Standards are maintained
Ensure customer needs are met in full and on time
Ensure breakdowns are attended to in in a cost-effective/ fast manner as possible
Ensure compliance to all safety policies of the company and safety regulationsTo implement preventive actions and maintenance to reduce breakdownsCost savings by using up redundant Equipment and other initiatives
Generating Job Cards on the Maintenance System and sign offUpdating Electrical Drawings File whenever new installations or modifications are doneEnsure good housekeeping in the work area
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as per agreed standard
Ensure all documentation is filed as expected. Eg PMs, certificates, etc.Must be able to work well with other disciplinesCome up with improvement ideas if opportunities are identifiedMentor apprentices
Qualifications & Experience
Matric or N3 in Electrical Engineering
Qualified Trade Tested ElectricianAt least 5 years qualified experience in the chemical manufacturing plant with exposure to hazardous area requirements/regulationsSAP/DMS Maintenance System experience (Or equivalent)Experience working with VSDs and complex interlocking systems
