Job Description
To ensure that the delivery & collection of customers or parts is done in a professional manner.To adhere to all road traffic ordinances at all times.To check and maintain company vehicles and report any damages.General deliveries of documents to distributors and suppliers.*Please note that preference will be given to equity candidates in line with our goals and targets,
Specific Role Responsibilities
-ASSIST SERVICE ADVISORS AND RECEPTIONISTS WHEN CALLED UPON IN PROVIDING TRANSPORT FOR CUSTOMERS.-ASSIST END CONTROLLER IN HIS DUTIES INCLUDING THE MOVING OF CARS IN AND OUT OF INSPECTION AREA, AS AND WHEN REQUIRED.-MOVE CARS IN AND OUT OF WASH BAYS AS REQUIRED.-RECOVER BROKEN DOWN VEHICLES WITH THE CARSHOP LDV AND/OR MOBI-JACK AS DIRECTED BY FOREMAN.-RECORD CORRECT KILOMETERS COVERED BY VEHICLE ON EVERY TRIP IN THE LOG BOOK PROVIDED.-REPORT ANY FAULTS FOUND ON BREAKDOWN VEHICLE OR MOBI-JACK TO FOREMAN.-ENSURE THAT VEHICLES ARE DRIVEN SAFELY AND IN A COURTEOUS MANNER.-REPORT ANY ACCIDENTS TO WORKSHOP FOREMAN.-CARRY OUT ADDITIONAL REASONABLE DUTIES FROM TIME TO TIME AND AT THE DISCTRETION OF MANAGEMENT.-ASSIST WASHBAY TO CLEAN CUSTOMER AND BREAKDOWN VEHICLES.-REPORT TO RECEPTION WHEN SENT OUT.-To adhere to all road traffic ordinances at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
- 1-2 years experience as a Driver in the Corporate sector- A valid Driver License (Code 08)
