Job Purpose
To drive various vehicles to transport staff, materials and equipment from and to site and assistwith all Electrical Maintenance and Construction activities and functions as required.
Key Responsibility Areas
Perform specific activities at the Depot or work sites prior to and on completion of allocated
Electricity related assignments.
Inspect safety devices, operating controls. lubricant levels on vehicles and report any defects
to the Administration Officer.
Observe and participates in the loading/offloading of materials and equipment,using prescribed
safety procedures.
Transport personnel,materials and equipment to/from specific locations.
Complete internal transactional documentation and forward to relevant personnel for
processing.
Operates light and heavy cars and trucks while providing a service to both the Maintenance
and Construction Sections of the relevant Depots.
Essential Requirements
Appropriate level of secondary education.
Preferred Requirements
Matric/Grade 12.
18 Months relevant experience.
