Purpose

The ARC-Campus for Fruit, Vine and Wine (ARC-Infruitec-Nietvoorbij) seeks to appoint a highly skilled, experienced and dynamic person.

RequirementsGrade 103 year’s relevant experience

Skills & Competencies

Good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, irrigate and harvest crops.

Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure.Function under supervision in the orchards & vineyards and able to solve problems encountered.Engage in all farming operations e.g., pruning, suckering, canopy management, harvesting and irrigation.Report any problems, discrepancies, and neglect immediately to Farm Supervisor.Correct use of relevant safety equipment.Comply with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Maintenance to farm structures, equipment, and security fences.


Additional Information


The appointment will be subject to a positive security clearance and preference will be given to South African citizens.

Remuneration
R107 288 – R160 932 p.a. all-inclusive remuneration package
