KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing the entire warehouse operations
Ensure smooth and efficient operation of both the Finished Goods, Local and Imported product
Allocation of resources to achieve the daily target
Ensure that a high degree of customer service is maintained through speed, accuracy, and quality of the loading and off-loading functions
Collaborating with sales department to align on customer demand and planning.
Ensure that all SAP and admin related functions are done timeously
Manage stock takes and cycle counts as required
Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in the entire warehouse
Daily planning and co-ordination of the transport requirements
Ensuring correct inventory levels
Manage expenses inline with the allocated budget
Responsible for people development, payroll accuracy and involvement of personnel
Responsible for 5S implementation in all warehouse areas and maintaining good housekeeping standards
Responsible for forklift safety standards and maintenance
Timeously informing the Warehouse Manager of problems being experienced
Timeously informing the Warehouse Manager of truck movement reports
Constantly investigation and striving to find methods of improving customer service and operating efficiencies
Proper utilization of equipment in his / her control
Monitoring inter-company stock replenishments
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
