Purpose

The primary objective of the Data Capturer is to provide support to the data management and study management teams at Synexa globally.
Data capture and data QC are a critical component of the data management process and require accurate capturing of information related to patient medical history, laboratory results, sample details, as well as scientific data.

Requirements

Matric certificate (essential) and undergraduate degree or diploma (desirable).
Experience working as a Data Capturer previously would be advantageous.

Good Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Excel) skills.
Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Capture Case Report Forms (CRF) and any other clinical related study documentation into study databases.
Collate queries identified in clinical documentation and share these with Study Managers and Data Manager for resolution by the clinical site.
Capture information about samples received at Synexa into the study-specific sample log-sheet.
Assist with data quality control (QC) processes across different units in the company to ensure data is correctly entered into relevant databases
