Job Description and Responsibilities

Analysis and interpretation of all elements of the financial operating result of the Brand, encompassing turnover, incentives, direct costs, overheads, other income and expenses.
Preparation and analysis of all financial information with regards to the actual result, forecast, budget, planning round, financial reporting (local & AG) and product evaluations / profitability. This would include, forecast input meeting input, Brand Meetings , PMM meetings, Finance Review Meetings, Head Office reporting and requests and all other relevant ad-hoc reporting requirements as they may arise.
Providing assistance and coordination in implementation and analysis of strategies and initiatives entered into by the Brandtogether with the financial implications these have on the NSO.
Ensure compliance by the Brand in respect of financial tasks, directives, initiatives and reporting as imposed by the Head Office.
Ensure meetings for corporate NSO financial forums are set up and Vorlage are timeously issued.
Preparation of Vorlage for bi-annual NSO Business review meeting with local BOM and Group Board members for the Brand.
Assist in the preparation and consolidation of cost information for incorporation in the corporate budgets and medium term planning
Coordination, analysis and assessment of various strategic projects and the interpretation of the results and impact on the NSO.
Project management of automation of key NSO Controlling processes in support of the digitalisation strategy of the Finance division.
Support the identification of process optimisation opportunities for NSO Controlling and plan, project manage and implement system solutions.
Product evaluations of new models, options etc to determine profitability impact on financial result
Euro cost negotiation planning, implementation and checks to ensure financial result is within pre-defined corridor
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation of projects.

Education and Experience•

A recognized 3 year National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/ Financial Management/ Accounting.• A post-graduate qualification / Honours degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Business Management will be preferred.• A minimum of 3 – 5 years working experience gained in the motor industry in the fields of finance and marketing.

• Sound understanding of financial principles.• Project development and implementation experience.• Analytically minded with the ability and inclination to work accurately with financial detail – critical.• Ability to listen and communicate effectively at all levels• Well-developed interpersonal skills• Be innovative, resourceful and action-orientated• Ability to work on own initiative and take accountability for own actions• A team player, yet be able to work and manage own output independently to meet high quality standards• Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet set deadlines• Excellent end-user computer proficiency with comprehensive knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
