University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) invites unemployed graduates to apply for Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI) Internship Programme 2023.

The University of KwaZulu-Natal, in partnership with the Department of Higher Education and Training, seeks to provide 145 unemployed UKZN graduates employment and on the job training as part of the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI) to mitigate the devastating economic challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The successful candidate will be required to acquire and demonstrate competency in two or more of the specialized discipline administration activities, including: basic (general) OR finance OR academic services administration, OR student administration (school level), OR committee administration and implementation processes, through participation in daily
divisional administrative processes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matriculation / Grade 12 / Senior Certificate;
• A relevant bachelor’s degree (accounting, finance, public administration, business
administration, etc) AND
• South African under the age of 35 years old.
The successful candidate will be placed on graduate Internships for six months, from 1 May 2023 to 31 October 2023, for the Internship in the College of Health Sciences.
The successful incumbent will be paid a stipend based on qualification.
