Job Description

As an insurance broker you will use your in-depth knowledge of risks and the insurance market to find and arrange suitable insurance policies and arrange cover for your clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will act as an intermediary between your clients, who can either be individuals, commercial businesses and organizations, and insurance companies, and will offer products from more than one insurer to ensure that your clients get the best deal.


Grade 12 or relevant NQF4 qualification

Successfully completed RE5 examinationStudying towards a Full Qualification to meet competency requirements for FAIS Fit and Proper purposes (NQF Level 5, Min Credits 120) will be advantageousMarketing experience will be advantageousProficient in Microsoft OfficeRequired to travelSkills Required

Excellent communication skills
Good people skills to interview and listen to clients
Thorough, precise and accurate
Have an entrepreneurial spirit, able work independently, setting own pace and schedule, manage time exceptionally well
Ability to master a variety of industry specific computer applications and maintaining organised records using computer software
Constantly add value to the current functions of the position
