Logistics coordinator Required: Vestas – South Africa

Responsibilities:

As Logistics coordinator:

You will be responsible for ensuring that all Vestas Supply chain processes are known and applied by all storekeepers in all SBU warehouses.

You will assist in the inventory counts, process trainings and actions plans to get the results defined by the annual targets (OTIF, Stock accuracy, safety conditions, ….).

You will visit frequently the SBU warehouses managed by the storekeepers under your responsibility.

You will be frequently in contact with other members of Med SCO in English language.

Main KPIs:

Coordinate all WH activities.

Support the SSK with daily issues.Ensure all equipment are certified on date.

Ensure that the warehouse is effective, productive and lean.

Coordinate return activities for DEF and Surplus.

Create and follow Non Conformities.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with:

Knowledge about order management processes and flows.

At least 3 years’ experience working in industrial warehouses.

Advanced SAP and Excel user and Intermediate MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written (in English).
