Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) is a global player in the automotive industry and is represented in 25 countries, operating 77 sites, with 7 R&D centres and employs 21 500 employees worldwide. FCM South Africa is looking for a Production Graduate to be based at our plant in Port Elizabeth.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Yes Graduate will responsible for implementing process control programs that will assure production of finished goods that meet or exceed customer-specified requirements. He/she leads continuous improvements by utilizing the appropriate quality tools and provide data analysis.
The main missions will be to gain development and learning on the following:
Conduct multiple projects simultaneously ranging from feasibility phase to post launch quality assessment and throughout production life
Facilitate Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) with Engineering in conjunction with advanced quality-planning activities and monitor the status throughout production life
Develop, implement and maintain Statistical Process Control techniques
Assure compliance of the documented quality system (ISO/TS16949) and promote consistency throughout the organization
Conduct investigations to determine causes of defects, make recommendations for corrective action
Maintain customer complaint log and facilitate and participate in multiple 8D’s and in the corrective action process; and ensure timeous feedback on the customer portals and Faurecia portals.
Instruct and train personnel in techniques and use of audit and testing devices
Monitor and revise quality documentation as required
Review all production methods for compliance to quality standards and for improvement of product and quality standards
Perform all responsibilities with ISO/TS16949 system requirements
Maintain customer specific requirements and audits
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
The ideal graduate will have/be:
NDIP or B- Tech in Mechaical Engineering.
An academic record mainitaining a overall 70% pass mark.
Knowledge / understanding of Quality Core tools
Strong analytical and problem solving-skills required.
Strong customer satisfaction orientation.
Never been registered with the Y.E.S Youth Program before
