Job Description

Anova is an NGO that empowers people and changes lives. Good health and quality of life is what motivates us to provide healthcare solutions and support for those who need it most.

We are looking for an Outreach Worker to attract more gay men and other men who have sex with men (MSM) to our outreach events and facilitate community outreach activities to create and maintain relationships with all relevant stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Outreach activities

Plan and coordinate outreach events
Develop weekly and monthly work plans.
Provide education to MSM on health-related matters
Refer MSM to health facilities
Compile activity monthly reports

Health screening

Conduct HTS, STI, PrEP and TB screening

Any other relevant tasks as agreed with the line manager.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required

A minimum of Grade 12.

Time management skills.HIV counselling certificate.At least 1 year experience in HTS.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A valid driver’s license will be added will be advantage.
