Exciting opportunity available at OneCart, we are looking for an experienced Digital Copywriter / Social Media Manager to write and edit content for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media). Write creative and conversion-based copy for social media, video, email, banners, website and SEO.
The role’s value would be in copywriting, critically thinking about each piece through a marketing lens, and finding a balance between messaging, KPIs, and maintaining brand voice.
Manage and own OneCart communities across all platforms.
Duties and Responsible :
Interpret creative briefs to develop copy concepts for execution with assigned brands
Align copy with creative and strategic campaigns.
Research and understand target audiences through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts, and in-person meetings
Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials
Collaborate with the account managers from concept development to delivery of the final product
Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team
Edit and proofread copy to ensure high standards.
Establish and ensure brand consistency across all communications.
Revise copy based on internal and client feedback
Use SEO insights to refresh, rewrite or create content.
Write creative and conversion-based copy for social media, video, email, banners, website and SEO
Use SEO principles to maximise content reach
Keep abreast of industry trends to ensure best practices
Respond to all social media queries and concerns
Manage resolution of all social posts and messages with the customer service agents
Implement and execute social media strategies in accordance with the SLA’s
Comprehensive social channel strategy and content planning in conjunction with the Head of Growth
Create content plans with fresh, innovative ideas that achieve campaign objectives.
Create world-class content that’s informative and appealing and on brand.
Oversee and grow social communities and user-generated content elements.
Campaign monitoring, analysis and reporting
The setting, measuring, optimisation and reporting of all campaign KPIs
Work within budget and report any overspending
Maintain a positive attitude
Take ownership of driving your career development (skills and knowledge)
Plan and priorities, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands to achieve agreed deliverables
Communicate effectively, maintain relationships
Follow any lawful and reasonable instruction from your line manager
Act as part of the Marketing team by assisting other members of the team to achieve common goals

Timely reporting of all instances of suspected or proven fraud via the appropriate reporting channel
Job Requirements :
A recognised copywriting or related qualification
SEO and social media experience
1-3 years of copywriting experience
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, GMB
Google Suite and other Social Media best practices
Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
Must have experience working as a Social Media Manager
Must have community manager experience
A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
Raise the bar continually for writing fresh copy that connects with a desired audience and drives action
Be adept at varying the voice, style, and other characteristics of messaging based on the industry, company, or target audience
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communications- and client-related industry trends
Stay current on the appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistent messaging
Conflict management ability
To understand customer acquisition and retention
Up-to-date with Social Media trends and platform changes
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Great command of the English language (verbally and written)
Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
Strong multitasking skills
