Introduction:

Icebolethu Group, South Africa’s second largest Funeral Assurance Group providing a centre of excellence and a leading provider of dignified burial solutions has a vacancy for a Premiums Collection Manager, in Durban- KwaZulu Natal.

Job Function:

To develop the Premium Collection Strategy by taking into account industry regulations.

Translate operational execution through alignment of premium collections Strategic objectives to effective operations (people, systems and processes).

Member of Premium collections and Complaints Businesses Management Team responsible for development and implementation of processes on the premium collections and complaints Business unit Strategy.

Ensure efficiency on customer complaints and premium collections Operations.

Responsibilities Required:

Premium collection and complaints Management.

Support the core business admin Support Management in creating a culture of transformational leadership, strategically aligned organisational culture and engaged workforce.

Premium collection operations Strategy — Develop, lead and manage the execution of the Premium collection Operations Strategy.

Premium Collections Operational Excellence — Coach and mentor direct reports to ensure personal development of team members, including taking disciplinary and corrective measures.

Growth and Sustainable – Establish and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers to enable growth and sustainable trajectory.

Manage of premium collection and complaints – Lead, monitor and evaluate the progress of Premium Collections management practices ensuring compliance with standards, policies and procedures.

Qualifications required for the position:

Grade 12

NQF Level 7 Qualification Business management / accounting related field.

5 years of experience in financial operations management in a corporate, preferably from Banking or financial industry.

MIN of 3 years in a management / or supervisory role.

Clear ITC.

Clear criminal record.

Own reliable transport and cell phone.

RE – 5 Qualification will be an advantage.
