KARAN BEEF has the following vacancy at the feedlot in Heidelberg Gauteng.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, hands-on individual and will be in possession of the following:

Requirements:
Grade 12
Technical background on farming equipment
Good communicator
Good people skills
Minimum of 5 years farming experience
Must have knowledge of pivots, balers and various farm equipment
Must have knowledge of eragrostis grass and other types of grass
Must have knowledge of herbicides and insecticides.
Computer literate
Must live in the area, within a radius of 30km
Good general health
Reliable and dependable person
Must be able to work weekends and outside normal working hours
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Assign tasks to employees
See that tasks are performed up to KARAN BEEF Standards
HR duties – discipline, timesheets etc.
Adhere to health & safety in the department
Ad Hoc tasks
Daily reporting to the Construction Manager
