This role will support, facilitate and execute all creativity-related social media and digital communication plans. It involves social media management, content creation, events management as well as general administration to drive public awareness of UD Trucks Southern Africa.
An individual with a customer centric approach as well as a deep understanding of digital marketing will be suitable for this role.
This position is earmarked to Unemployed Youth on on a 12 month contract basis. The person applying must comply with the criteria and be registered on the Yes4Youth platform
Responsibilities and Duties
Campaign and Social media management
•Assisting with developing and executing comprehensive, integrated B2B demand generation campaigns including email marketing, direct mail, webinar, Social Media campaigns
•Assisting with planning, implementing and optimization of communication and social media campaigns, including the ability to identify and track relevant metrics across the web and social media
•Assisting with educating the dealer network on the utilization of the channels.
•Working alongside the agency to respond to queries through the website and social media platforms
•Assisting with managing correct application of UD Trucks SA brand on different platforms
•Support internal stakeholders with the development and execution of the internal marketing communication strategy, staff events and activations
•Support with the execution of the event activity plan in accordance with CI standards and company procedures
•Working in partnership with the Marketing Manager and creative team to develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public facing communications, including print, digital, website, and video assets.
•Assisting with analyzing and reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns on different platforms
•Assist with creating marketing purchase orders.
•Ensuring that correct filing and archiving of all purchases
•Ensuring that suppliers are paid timeously
•Ordering gifts and POS marketing material
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications or related university degree
At least 2-3 years of Marketing Communications Experience within Commercial Vehicles or Automotive industry
Multinational company experience is essential
Fluent in English, written and spoken
PC and MS Office proficient
Basic Photoshop, Movie editing or similar skills
