Job Description
Develop statistical and financial models, in addition to utilizing internal transport management system, to explore cost-cutting and efficiency options in the logistics process.
Provide regular reports and statistics on certain aspects of the logistics process, such as supplier analysis and transportation costs.
Assess logistics activities and achieve desired operational results by applying knowledge and research approaches.
Ensure that logistical costs are analysed, monitored, and kept under control.Collaborate with Logistics and other relevant staff to handle issues as they arise.Collation of data from across the businessPreparing monthly reports on operational and financial metrics.Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics
3-5 years previous experience in a logistics or supply chain analytical/ planner role
Sound understanding of supply chain models
Advanced knowledge of SAP
Awareness of Dangerous Goods Handling
Advanced Excel user with the ability to analyse and manipulate data in Excel and provide meaningful information
