Introduction

The Mintek Internal Communications Officer is responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies that enhance the organization’s culture, brand, and overall business objectives.

Description
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement internal communication strategies and plans that align with the company’s objectives and values;
Create and manage communication campaigns to drive employee engagement and promote organisational culture and values;
Coordinates the development of the annual employee engagement calendar for communication initiatives/events;
Writes and edits internal communication materials, including newsletters, email communications, memos, and other collateral;
Develops and manages content for internal communication channels, including intranet, social media, digital signage, and other platforms;
Measures the effectiveness of internal communication strategies and continuously improves through feedback and analysis;
Maintains and upholds company brand guidelines and communication standards;
Champions brand compliance and discipline in the rolling out of Internal communications initiatives
Monitors the effectiveness of internal communications campaigns;
Ensures that Mintek’s management is kept informed about relevant information that may impact the organisation’s strategy and objectives
Monitors communication channels to identify brand and reputational risks;
Monitors adherence to communications policy
Contributes towards client internal satisfaction as per agreed targets

Minimum Requirements
Min: B Degree in Science Communications, Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
Ideal: B Hon Degree in Science Communications, Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
