REQUIREMENTS

Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress

Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system (e.g. Revel POS or Toast POS) ? Basic math skills

Attentiveness and patience for customers

. Excellent presentation skills

. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment ? Active listening and effective communication skills . Team spirit

. Flexibility to work in shifts

High school diploma; food safety training is a plus

Greeting diners and taking their orders

Communicating with members of the kitchen about orders

Carrying meals or beverages to the correct tables

Providing excellent wait service to ensure satisfaction

Making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with restaurant patron

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Successful candidate should be able to manage time as he/she will work on shifts system. They should also be able to perform the tasks for the entire duration of the shift.

HONESTY:

Successful candidate should be honest. Keep in mind that they will handle the financial transactions of the business. They should be honest enough to remit all the cash that the business has profited from the customers and enter the correct amounts in the business’s financial system.
