Responsibilities

Dismantle, fit and re-assemble process equipment

Install and setup VSD’s

Wire up electrical panels

Preventative maintenance

Installation and commissioning of new equipment

Problem solving and repairs on electrical equipment

Ensure equipment uptime of 95%

Mentorship and training of apprentices

Qualifications

Sound understanding and application of OSHA regulations

Exposure to Siemens PLC

5 years working experice on electrical equipment in a FMCG plant

Relevant tertiary qualifications, minimum N3

Qualified electrician (red seal)

Leadership skills

Able to work shifts and standby when required

Wireman’s licence
