Delivery Assistant Required: PEPSICO – Mkuze DC Bread

Responsibilities

Monitoring of stock

Ensuring all incidents and accidents are reported timeously

POD control

Safe working practices

Housekeeping

Following Standard Operating Procedures

Assist the driver in the loading and offloading of the product

Assist with the manoeuvering of the vehicle in the safest possible manner for delivery to customers

Loading and off loading at customer

Securing loads and ensuring that the product is always properly secured in transit

Assist the driver and report any damage to any property

Assist where possible with control of paperwork

Qualifications

Matric is essential

Code 10 or higher valid driver’s licence with PrDP will be an advantage

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities – effective in handling and interacting with customers

Familiarity with local streets, neighbourhoods and routes

Highly responsible & reliable

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

The ability to work flexible hours

The ability to lift heavy objects

Strong work ethic

Neatly presented at all times
