Chamisa hands over Christmas hampers to Buhera’s elderly, disabled

MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa has sent Christmas hampers to some families in Buhera North and Buhera West constituencies in Manicaland Province.

The party’s delegation did the handover of the
Christmas hampers to the elderly, disabled and less privileged members of the society at a rather low-key event in the villages.

Critics say part of the reasons the MDC Alliance has always lost rural elections was because they focused more on promises than actually handing over goods and empowerment projects to the people, as does Zanu PF.

This latest development might signal a change in tact for the opposition party as by-elections beckon in the next few months.
