by Tulip Charowa

ZIMBABWEAN motorcross rider, Tanyarwadzwa Muzinda, emerged as champion of the 125cc mixed two-stroke class at the 2021 Bartow National Motocross Championship Series, in Florida.

The Bartow National Motocross Championship is one of the most demanding amateur motocross series in the United States, consisting of twenty-three rounds.

In her maiden appearance in the series, Muzinda outshined all the other competitors, claiming 13 straight wins in the series.

The 16-year-old amassed 382 points, while her closest rival, Gabriel Burgess finished 2nd with 307 points.

This was Muzinda’s first-ever full-season championship win outside of Zimbabwe.
