KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Review prospecting reports, and extract relevant prospecting data and information.
Monitor mineral rights applications every 6 months.
Conducts geo-scientific investigations or research under guidance and supervision.
Participates in statutory and occasionally commercial projects and publishes research findings internally and/or externally.
Gives formal scientific or technical presentations of papers or reports, internally and externally with guidance at conferences or symposia.
Gives scientific advice to the public and private sectors within established guidelines.
Ensures that work is conducted within the required ISO standards.

QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Grade 12; and
Honours Degree in Geology, Economic Geology, Exploration Geology or related geoscience field.
A valid driver’s license (C1) will be an added advantage.
