Job Description
Job Purpose:
Process the Fleet Division wages in a timely and accurate manner. Calculating wages and applicable deductions based on employee attendance, sickness, tax liabilities and timesheet records etc. Enter payroll information into central system for processing
Key Performance Areas:
Duties will include but not be limited to
Compile Job Costing Batches for Seagoing vessels, on Excel
Assist with Macros and Importing of Batches for Monthly pay run
Sourcing information and preparation of routine as well as ad-hoc reports
Assist with General Enquiries and Admin
Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
At all times ensure compliance with Sea Harvest Group systems and operating procedures
Qualifications & Experience:
Qualification in an industry-related field/ Payroll Diploma advantageous
Minimum 2/3 years’ experience in a related field
Solid knowledge of payroll principles, processes, and procedures
Solid understanding of relevant legislation
High level of computer literacy essential(Excel and Sage VIP)
Excellent administration skills and good communication skills
Good time management and organisational skills
Detail-oriented, Proactive, Pressure resilient, Independent and needs to be a Team player
Strong attention to detail
