THIS POSITION IS BASED IN THE NORTHERN CAPE KURUMAN KATHU HOTAZEL
Responsibility:
Safety
Compliance with all safety regulations as set out in the mines policies
Maintenance Breakdown maintenance
Planned maintenance
Fault finding
Requisition of parts needed
Job Cards
Paperwork concerning repairs
Follow up on breakdowns
Housekeeping
General tidiness and good housekeeping of site and other areas of responsibility Ensure that all tools and equipment used are kept clean and in serviceable condition
Minimum Requirements:
National Senior Certificate
Candidates must have a valid driver’s
Icense
Relevant Artisan Red Seal Trade
Certificate is required
Engineering N2 Passed in related field of trade
At least 3 years post trade experience on heavy mining diesel equipment 3 years’ experience in open cast mining environment and specifically relevant to
Crushing and Screen / Plant Environment
Knowledge / Competencies /Abilities:
Fuly bilingual
Must be medically fi and pass a medical examination as required from the designated mines
Ability to work under pressure and to meet Strict deadlines as determined by the supervisor
Must possess basic problem solving, basic self-management
